This policy covers our website, online shop, emails and any orders or enquiries you send us. It does not cover third-party websites we link to.

We collect only what we need to sell and deliver your soap and run our shop.
• Contact and order details: your name, email, phone, billing and delivery address, items bought and order history. You give us these at checkout or when creating an account.
• Payment information: confirmation of your card or wallet payment, from our payment providers. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Messages: enquiries, custom or wholesale requests, reviews and delivery notes you send us by email, contact form or social media.
• Marketing preferences: your newsletter sign-up, opt-ins and opt-outs, which you give us.
• Technical and usage data: IP address, browser, device, pages viewed and referring site, collected by cookies and similar tools (see Cookies).
We do not ask for special category data (such as health information). If you tell us about a skin condition or allergy when asking about ingredients, we use it only to answer your question.
How we use your information
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), we must have a lawful basis for each use.

We share your information only with service providers who help us run the shop, and only what they need to do their job.

• Payments: Wix Payments, which takes payments securely
• Delivery: Royal Mail, which delivers your parcel
• Email marketing: Wix, which sends our newsletter
• Analytics: Wix, which measures how the site is used
• Advertising: Meta (Facebook and Instagram), if we run adverts and you have accepted marketing cookies
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or if the business is sold (the buyer would be bound by this policy).
International transfers
Some of our providers store data outside the UK, for example in the US or EU. When that happens, we make sure the transfer is protected by a UK adequacy decision, the UK–US Data Bridge, or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it.
• Order and payment records: 6 years from the end of the financial year (HMRC requirement).
• Customer account: until we close it, or after 3 years of inactivity.
• Enquiries and messages: 2 years after our last contact.
• Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe.
• Analytics data: up to 14 months.
After that, we delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
You can ask us to do any of the following, free of charge, and we will reply within one month.
• See a copy of the information we hold about you
• Correct information that is wrong or incomplete
• Delete your information, where we no longer need to keep it
• Restrict or object to how we use it, including for direct marketing
• Receive your information in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect anything we did before)

Our shop is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16; if you think a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
